Sunday is one of the best places to watch whales and dolphins in Costa Rica, which attracts nature lovers, not only nationally, but worldwide, this city is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the different water sports and activities available here.
Sunday is the gateway to the Osa Peninsula and belongs to the Osa Conservation Area a biological corridor protected by the government, including the National Park Marino Ballena whale and dolphin as a popular destination.

The rivers and lakes in the park are home to large populations of both the American crocodile and caiman glasses with bull sharks. Corcovado is also a final bastion of Jaguar Central and several other cats are present, including Ocelot, ocelot, jaguarundi and Puma.
The four species of monkeys in Costa Rica can be seen in the park, including the endangered squirrel monkey Central faced, howler and Geoffroy's spider monkey. Other mammals have two fingers and feet three, peccary, the silky anteater Tamandua North. To get to Sunday you can drive from San Jose to San Isidro in the Cordillera de Talamanca or rectum can be reached via the coastal road from Quepos beyond the city of Hacienda Baru.
